Dr. Thompson is board certified in hematology as well as anatomic and clinical pathology, and earned his medical degree at Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Thompson completed his residency at Penrose St. Francis Health Services in Colorado Springs, CO where he served as chief resident. He then completed his fellowship training in hematopathology at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
